Legal issues can be very different for tribal members, and not many Colorado and New Mexico attorneys are equipped to understand the nuances of tribal land, laws, and citizenship.  Nicci Unsicker has focused a good portion of her training and career on native justice issues.

Nicci’s love of the Four Corners area and the people who were here first began at an early age.  She developed a close friendship with a Diné tribal member when she was very young, fueling her deep affinity for native cultures and respect for the traditional way of life.  She began her advanced studies with this active interest, graduating with a law degree from the University of Tulsa including a certificate in Federal Indian Law.
