J. Nicci Unsicker – Attorney at Law

SERVING NEW MEXICO, COLORADO, AND NAVAJO CLIENTS

Helping real people with real lives is the passion that drives Nicci Unsicker.  As a Farmington area attorney for individuals, tribal members, families, and businesses, she sees her role as a champion for her clients.  She listens carefully to determine what matters most to each one, navigates complex relationship dynamics, and exercises the utmost in honesty and respect to arrive at the right strategy for moving forward.

After receiving her undergraduate degree from Manchester College in Indiana, Nicci graduated with highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2009.  She then earned the privilege of continuing her education at the Trial Lawyers College, a non-profit institution “committed to training a new breed of lawyer—a warrior who has the courage to become a real person first, and who then has the heart to fight for justice in their own passionate voice.”

Nicci was inspired early in life by a friendship with a Diné tribal member.  Through a decades-long relationship filled with letters and visits, Nicci developed a love for the history and culture of Native Americans of the Southwest and traditional concepts such as the importance of returning to harmony.  She decided to dedicate part of her life to fighting for native justice.  Today, Nicci holds a certificate in Native American as well as International law.

Nicci will work with you to find the best approach to handle the challenges you face, whether it’s a court appearance, mediation, a settlement, or a different solution.  You’ll be empowered to embrace the future, knowing she is in your court.
